Ohira Tech, in collaboration with Front Pictures, has unveiled a fully integrated hybrid planetarium system.
For the first time, the hybrid system features automatic digital-to-starball calibration.
The system, based on a Megastar Neo projector and Screenberry media server, was demonstrated in Toulouse during the IPS Conference 2018.
Now, it takes just a few minutes to auto-align the optomechanical star projector and digital projection with an unprecedented level of precision.
The system stays in perfect sync even at high movement speeds thanks to the direct control of the optomechanical projector on the motor level.
