An optomechanical planetarium projector “MEGASTAR-Neo”, an ultra-wide-range LED dimmer “NanoDimmer”, a real-time streaming system “StarStream” and a 5.1 surround sound system were delivered to Kokonoe Youth House in Oita Prefecture. It is a hybrid system with the digital planetarium ‘StellaDome Pro’ (AstroArts, Japan).
In addition to planetarium commentary, stargazing events are also held.
Equipped with training and accommodation facilities, it is used not only by the schools and universities, but also for the extra-curricular activities, social education projects, training for working people, day service for the elderly, etc. It can also be used by families.
